The China-Sulawesi Morowali industrial park is jointly invested by Indonesia's Bintang Delapan group and China's Qingshan group, to operation of Nickel and Stainless Steel processing mainly. Morowali industrial park’s total area is about 1,200 hectares, in the future, will be expanded to 2,000 hectares.

The industrial park is expected to be completed by 2019, and will create at least 80,000 jobs.

In addition to nickel and stainless steel processing , the supporting downstream industries including household appliances, ships, furniture, automobile manufacturers and construction companies.

The Morowali industrial park is planning to invest $15 million to build an airport and invest $20 million to build an port, that will bring more business opportunities to Ontrac.
