CONCH Cement ordered  46 sets of Ontrac electric actuators to be installed on the main steam stop valve and boiler piping heating valve at Shew Taung Cement. C. Ltd. The project is located in Pyi Nyaung Village, Thasri Township, Meikhtila District, Mandalay Division, approximately 150 km from Naypyidaw. Myanmar.

Phase one of the 1500t/d clinker line has been put into operation, and phase two of 4000t/d clinker line is in trial production. The supporting waste and heating power generation project was designed to generate capacity of 7.95mw.

Ontrac electric actuators will be mainly used to control the flow of the  main steam stop valve. When more than one boiler is connected to the main steam header, a stop check valve should be installed in the pipeline between each boiler and the header. Ontrac electric actuator is one of the key success factors to control the valve.

The end user is already successfully operating Ontrac actuators at  other sites in the Myanmar three years ago.
