In 2019, Datang Inner Mongolia Duolun project accomplished 105% of scheduled refined methanol production. By the high and stable plant operation, consumption figures of normalized coal equivalence, raw water and outside purchased electricity per ton methanol output were decreasing continuously, to record the best performance of the general process.

Duolun project is the first in China converting low-rank lignite in the process of coal to polypropylene as a modern coal chemical process demo. The project operation was once not sufficiently smooth owing to problems in coal species and process. The situation has been gradually improved since 2016 and, after the repeated creation of new output level and eventually reached 1.42Mt of annual production in 2018, first time in the plant history fulfillment of yearly schedule, the production reached a new height in Apr this year.

More than 160 sets of Ontrac intelligent electric actuators have been ordered for this project.

Ontrac electric actuators were selected due to the performance and economical price reliability. Ontrac Site Services were able to have the actuators commissioned within the tight time frame specified for this project and will continue to provide maintenance services following the installation.
